Ron Cahalan
Ron Cahalan is a twenty-six-year career veteran in Mortgage Banking. He is an author, entrepreneur and avid student of marketing. He is considered by many as an expert voice for consumers trying to understand the mortgage lending business and processes.
Disgusted with the increasing lack of ethics and morals in an industry that rewards predatory lending and greed, Ron gave up his nearly 30 year career to focus his efforts on being a consumer advocate, watch-dog and a force in changing mortgage lending nationwide.
As an confessed ‘serial-entrepreneur with ADD,' Ron’s other businesses include three non-fiction books, marketing consulting, three board games he has created purely for philanthropy to raise over $5 million for disadvantaged and abused children in 2007-2008, and a line of novelty products in the professional sports and NASCAR genres for which he is currently licensing.
Ron is married, has four children, two Great Danes and a 50+ pound desert tortoise. Ron’s interests include, most importantly, his faith and various men’s and family ministries, auto-racing, fitness, sports and helping others in creating products from their ideas.
